Welcome to San Diego Vegan Activists, where compassion meets action in the sunny heart of Southern California!
We are a dynamic community dedicated to advocating for the rights of animals and promoting a compassionate, vegan lifestyle throughout San Diego and beyond.
At San Diego Vegan Activists, we strive to bring about the five fundamental tenets outlined in Rose's Law (RosesLaw.org) for animal rights:
1. The right to be free - not owned - or to have a guardian acting in their best interest.
2. The right to not be exploited, abused, or killed by humans.
3. The right to have their interests represented in court and protected by the law.
4. The right to a protected home, habitat, or ecosystem.
5. The right to be rescued from situations of distress and exploitation.
Through grassroots initiatives, collaborative efforts with local animal rights groups, and a passion for positive change, we strive to create a more compassionate world for all of our fellow earthlings no matter the species.
Every year we organize The Official San Diego Animal Rights March, an empowering event where voices unite to speak out against injustice and advocate for our animal friends stuck in the human systems of exploitation. With each step, we march towards a future where animals are free from exploitation and cruelty.

Several groups will be going to San Diego City Council stating we must enact a ban on animal torture devices commonly used at rodeos, including
electric prods, shocking devices, flank or bucking straps, wire tiedowns, sharpened or fixed
spurs, and rowels.
Join us at City Council Non-Agenda Public Comment, call and write your City Council Representative and make your voice heard!
Several activists are also attending The Environmental Committee meetings asking for a ban on the very dangerous and toxic fireworks shows at Sea World.
